Why work with us

Care work that feels like family.

Philippine Elder Care Services was founded by three friends. One of them has worked as a caregiver and understands the patience, attentiveness and human connection that meaningful day-to-day support requires.

That perspective shapes how we think about our team. Caregivers are the heart of what families experience, and we want the people who give care to feel respected, informed and supported too.

Our values

What Malasakit looks like on the job

Malasakit is the Filipino value of heartfelt concern for others. Here’s how it shows up in the way we work.

Malasakit, every day

Heartfelt concern for others isn’t a slogan here. It’s how we hope every visit feels, for clients and for caregivers.

Respect and dignity

We value caregivers who honor each person’s privacy, choices, routines and independence.

Clear communication

We believe in honest conversations and thoughtful coordination between caregivers, clients and families.

A welcoming team

Every person deserves to feel included and respected, and that includes the people who give care.

Hands-on support

Caregiver

Caregivers provide non-medical help with daily living. This can include personal care routines like bathing, dressing and grooming, mobility support, meals, light housekeeping and medication reminders, all within each client’s care plan.

  • Patience and a respectful, gentle approach
  • Comfort helping with personal routines
  • Reliable, clear communication with families
Connection and presence

Companion

Companions focus on conversation, shared activities and meaningful connection, along with everyday support like simple meals and tidying up. This work suits people who love to listen and bring warmth to someone’s day.

  • Warmth, kindness and good listening
  • Enjoyment of conversation and activities
  • Dependability and respect for routines

All roles are non-medical. Hiring and placement depend on current openings and applicable screening requirements.
